Blue-and-white, and flowers that never fade.

Delft by the shelf, planters and pots, faux florals hand-painted by an artist, pillows made from her paintings, and the antiques to anchor a room. A home décor store for people who'd rather have one good thing than a cart full.

Delft tulipières, a terracotta bust and a painted commode in the shop delft & company

Delft and blue-and-white

It's the thread that runs through the whole shop. We carry a great deal of it — Delft tulipières and chargers, Chinese export and Canton, Japanese blue-and-white, English transferware, and the ginger jars, garnitures, cachepots and vases that make a mantel. Antique pieces sit next to good new ones, because a room needs both: the old bowl with the chip and the story, and the new pair of jars that match. We buy it too.

Planters and pots

Blue-and-white cachepots for orchids, Delft and faience pots for the windowsill, terracotta with age, glazed jardinières for the lanai and the pool deck. Naples lives outdoors half the year, and a good planter is half of a good room. We keep them in every size from a single-orchid pot to a pair that flank a door.

Faux florals, hand-painted

Sharon Lynch — the artist whose gallery shares our rooms — specializes in permanent florals that she paints by hand, so the color is hers and not a factory's. Peonies, roses, hydrangeas, tulips: the flowers of her paintings, in three dimensions, in the vessels we sell. For a Naples house that's empty half the year, or a room that never gets enough light, or an installation that has to look the same on day 400 as on day one, they are the answer — and they don't look like the answer. Arrangements are made in the shop; bring the vase, or choose one here.

Pillows and fabrics

Sharon's paintings, printed onto fabric and sewn into pillows — a cobalt ground with pink peonies, a turquoise field of wildflowers, the daisies. Finished pillows are in stock; custom sizes and fabric by the yard are made to order. Fabrics & pillows.

Paintings

Two kinds, and they get on well: Sharon's original floral canvases on one wall (enquiries to her gallery), and antique oils, portraits, prints and period frames on the other. Art, gilt & mirrors.

Lamps, mirrors and the rest

Lamps made from old vases and good new ones, mirrors with age, boxes, bookends, candlesticks in silver and brass, the odd garden ornament — the accents that finish a room. And the furniture to put it all on, chosen one piece at a time. The antiques.

Old and new, on purpose

The rooms we admire in Naples are never all-antique or all-new. They're a painted Italian commode with a pair of new ginger jars on it, under a canvas painted last month, beside a chair covered in a fabric made from that canvas. We stock for that room. Come put one together.

Home décor questions

Is the blue-and-white antique or new?

Both, clearly marked and honestly priced. Antique Delft, export and transferware sit alongside good new pieces for the pair you need to match.

Can Sharon make a faux arrangement for a specific vase or room?

Yes. Bring the vase, or photographs of the room and its colors, and she'll paint and arrange to suit. Ask in the shop for lead times.

Do you deliver?

In Naples and Southwest Florida, yes; further afield we ship, with porcelain packed the way porcelain should be.

Do you offer trade pricing?

Yes, for designers, decorators and dealers. How we work with the trade.

Can you find a specific piece for me?

Often. Tell us what you're hunting — a pair of something, a size, a color — and we'll keep an eye out through the estates we handle.

Always acquiring
