The boutique · 6240 Shirley St, Naples

A boutique for people who give good things.

Antiques on one side, a gallery of floral paintings on the other, and in between: candles with their own fragrance notes, pillows made from paintings, Delft and blue-and-white, faux hand-painted florals, and — come the holidays — a shop that turns into something else entirely.

What's in the boutique

Old things, new things, and things that smell wonderful

Everything here was chosen the way the antiques were — one at a time, because it was good. Much of it was made a few feet away.

Sharon Lynch Collections

The boutique shares its rooms with the gallery of Sharon Lynch Collections — original floral paintings by the artist Sharon Lynch, whose stated purpose is to create "the vibration of Love and Beauty through the Language of Flowers." She works from the idea that flowers heal — that a room with the right colors and blooms in it changes how the people in it feel — and much of what the boutique carries grows out of that.

  • The candles — her own line, each with its fragrance notes written out like a recipe on the label. More.
  • Fabrics and pillows printed from her paintings, made to order or off the shelf. More.
  • Faux florals, hand-painted — permanent botanicals she paints and arranges, so the flowers in a room never fade. More.
  • Ornaments, new this holiday season, carrying her floral designs. More.
  • The paintings themselves, on the walls all around — enquiries go to her gallery directly.

The mix is the point: an 18th-century portrait, a Delft tulipière, a canvas of peonies painted last month, and a candle that smells like the garden the peonies came from. Three collections, one very good address.

Boutique questions

Where is the boutique?

Inside our shop at 6240 Shirley Street, Suite 104, Naples — the Shirley Street design district off Pine Ridge Road, in the sherbet-orange building. Directions and hours.

Do you ship gifts?

Yes — anywhere in the country, packed properly. Call or email with what you have in mind and where it's going.

Can I order pillows or fabric without coming in?

Yes. Pillows and yardage are made to order from Sharon's designs and can be ordered remotely and shipped. How it works.

Do you work with interior designers?

Constantly. Trade accounts, sourcing, custom textiles, faux florals for installations and delivery to the project. For designers.

Is everything new, or antique?

Both, deliberately. Sharon's candles, textiles and florals are made now; the Delft, silver, porcelain and furniture are old. They look better together than apart.
