The holidays, taken seriously.

We go all in. Every season the shop turns over to the holidays — and this year there's something new: a line of Christmas ornaments carrying Sharon Lynch's floral designs, alongside the silver, blue-and-white, candles and décor for a table people will remember.

New this season: the ornaments

Sharon Lynch's flowers — the peonies, roses, hydrangeas and tulips of her paintings — on a line of Christmas ornaments, launching this holiday season in the boutique. They're made to be the ones you notice on the tree, and to be given: a box of them is a hostess gift that doesn't get re-gifted. Call or write to be told when they land; quantities will be what they are.

A shop that changes for the season

Holiday isn't a corner of the shop; it's the shop. From late fall the rooms are dressed — trees, garlands, the blue-and-white brought forward, the silver polished for once — and the inventory shifts toward what the season needs: candlesticks and candelabra, trays and punch bowls, tureens and platters, Delft and porcelain for the table, ornaments and décor, and the gifts. Naples fills up in December; come early, and come more than once.

The holiday table

This is where old things earn their keep. A pair of Georgian candlesticks, a Victorian tea service, an English tureen, a set of blue-and-white plates that don't match and look better for it — one antique piece on a holiday table changes the whole thing, and they cost less than most people expect. What's on the floor now.

Hostess gifts and the December list

A candle with its fragrance notes on the label. A small blue-and-white pot. A box of the ornaments. Antique silver odds and ends — salts, spoons, a napkin ring — wrapped and ready. We'll help you work through the list in one visit, and we ship the ones that live out of town. Gift ideas.

Faux florals for the season

Sharon's hand-painted permanent florals in seasonal reds, whites and greens, arranged in the shop for a mantel, a table or an entry — and still perfect in January, and next December. Home décor.

For designers and for the office

Client gifts by the case, ornaments and candles for installs and thank-yous, seasonal florals for a lobby. Standing orders welcome. For the trade.
